Diopsys, Inc. is a leading provider of non-invasive medical devices that analyze the entire visual pathway for visual and neuro-visual disorders. The company utilizes technology known as electrophysiology – both Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) and pattern Electroretinography (ERG). It is this technology that powers Diopsys, Inc.’s medical devices – the Diopsys® NOVA-VEP and NOVA-ERG product series and the Enfant® Pediatric VEP Vision Testing System. Our patented technology has been demonstrated as an effective tool in providing objective, functional information to the primary care physician, ophthalmologist and optometrist for the most appropriate and timely treatment to prevent vision loss. This technology is used for the detection of subclinical vision disorders and comparative data for decision making when a diagnosis is equivocal/differential and vision testing in children. It also provides data to help isolate the location of visual pathway abnormalities, monitors progression of disease, and gives the physician and patient an objective, alternative testing methods when the patient or other test results have limitations.

The Icare story originally began with the development of the rebound tonometer. It was a major breakthrough obtained after a decade of hard work by Finnish MD, Mr. Antti Kontiola, who wanted to find a new, easy and patient-friendly method of measuring intraocular pressure. The realization of the rebound method and its equipment has involved a number of partners, including the Helsinki University Eye Clinic in the clinical testing, and the Mount Sinai Medical School in the US in developing the veterinary modification of the instrument.

Eye Photo Systems
This product features Dr. Robert H. Osher’s iris fingerprinting technique for ensuring accurate intraoperative alignment of toric IOLs, bringing digital accuracy to your premium implant procedures.
This system combines extremely high quality results with simple operation and ease of use. The slit lamp photos contain all the information necessary to make better decisions and monitor treatment outcomes. The data can be measured and assessed at any time after the initial photo capture. This gives the flexibility to chart and assess data outside of the exam lane. Confidently manage complex cases by maximizing your available data.
Unified Imaging provides a cloud-based system for image capture, storage, and retrieval of ophthalmic instrument print data that interfaces with any instrument capable of printing.
The system was developed from the ground-up to be user friendly, inexpensive and to easily integrate into any EMR system. This software works in conjunction with unique wireless print capture devices that turn print data into high quality images.
The Unified Imaging solution is immediately applicable to practices with both old and new ophthalmic diagnostic equipment. Because we are not tied to any manufacturer, our instrument agnostic approach allows us to capture almost all image based instrument data.
The result is a single, simplified solution that allows eye care professionals to see a consolidated view of all patient data directly from the patient’s chart.
Eye Care Alliance
The Eye Care Alliance was founded by Bob Padula, former VP Sales for Carl Zeiss Meditec’s U.S. diagnostic equipment business and 30 year veteran of the ophthalmic industry. Bob and his wife and three children reside in the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina area.
ECA started as the first and only authorized Carl Zeiss Meditec reseller and quickly gained a devoted following due to excellent pricing, product quality and customer service. Although Zeiss has decided to no longer have an authorized reseller for preowned equipment, ECA continues to thrive as an excellent alternative for high quality preowned Humphrey, Zeiss and other premium diagnostic equipment. Most of this growth has come from “word-of-mouth” through various networks of eye care professionals and respected vendors across the U.S.
