Huvitz is a company based in South Korea, known for manufacturing a full range of high-quality, durable equipment for the vision industry using the latest in advanced, cutting-edge technology.
Huvitz isn’t as well-known a name as ZEISS or Icare, but that doesn’t mean it makes cheap knockoffs — actually, it’s the opposite: Huvitz was formed nearly 20 years ago by a combination of engineers from two global tech giants, Samsung and LG.
The two Huvitz product areas I focus on are the HDR product line (digital phoropters) and the HRK models (autorefractor / keratometers). Please click below for more information on either.
Peter Santisi, O.D., Santisi Vision Care, owner of 5 Huvitz devices:
“The features are exactly the same as a lot of other technology out there. If you compare them side by side, they’re almost identical at a fraction of the cost. For the investment, it has absolutely paid off. Would I buy again? The answer is absolutely yes.”
